Our Mission
To democratize practical education by empowering professionals to inspire learners through flexible, real-world teaching experiences.
Our Vision
A future where every student learns not only from textbooks, but directly from professionals in the field—bridging the gap between theory and practice, globally.
The Meaning Behind the Name
ProfBridge Commons combines three key ideas:
Prof stands for both Professors (especially adjunct faculty) and Professionals (business leaders and field experts).
Bridge represents the connection we aim to build between these individuals and academic institutions such as universities, colleges, and schools.
Commons reflects both the concept of shared educational resources and our aspiration to make this approach the future standard—a common, accessible model for integrating practical knowledge into classrooms worldwide.
Founder’s Note
The ProfBridge Commons Project is an independent initiative founded by Dr. Ryosuke Nakajima, a Management Consultant, Professor (Dean), Editorial Board Member of International Business Journals, and Postdoc Research Fellow in Japan. It was born out of a belief that real-world wisdom should have a seat in the classroom—starting with just one class.
This project is NOT intended to replace or disrupt existing hiring practices or training programs for adjunct lecturers in academia.
Instead, it respectfully aims to augment and enhance current systems by offering a flexible way for institutions to engage with real-world professionals as guest educators.
